SCHOOL UNIFORM

The school uniform policy requires students to wear specific attire based on gender and season.
  • Grey full pants for boys.
  • Grey skirt or pants for girls.
  • Lined White Half Sleeve Shirt. (full sleeve shirt for Winter)
  • Grey sweater/ blue coat/Blazer for winter.
  • White socks.
  • Plain black leather shoes.(without high heels)
  • Tie.
  • Grey belt with Don Bosco buckle.
  • White pant/skirt, House shirts and white canvas shoes on P.T. days.

Promotion

Promotion to the next class at the end of the academic year will be based on the student's performance in all the term examinations conducted during the year; hence, it does not depend solely on the final term examinations. Failure to appear at any assessment can seriously affect a student's academic progress and promotion. For those who fail, the school authority will decide whether they should be given a chance to repeat the same class or leave the school.


DISCIPLINARY MATTERS


Discipline and Morality

Special attention is given to maintaining high moral and disciplinary standards. Parents and guardians are encouraged to ensure their wards attend school regularly and punctually.

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction is English. Students must speak only in English on campus, and non-compliance will lead to disciplinary action.

Enrollment & Attendance

Students who fail to report within the first three days of the academic year without prior notice will be removed from the enrollment list.

A minimum of 85% attendance is required to appear for terminal examinations.

Examinations

No re-examinations or promotions on trial will be conducted for students absent from term examinations.

Behavior & Conduct

Students must respect teachers and staff. Arrogant behavior is strictly prohibited. Any act that brings disrepute to the school will result in disciplinary action.

Prohibited Items

Students are not allowed to bring motorized vehicles, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, video games, or mass storage devices to school. Confiscation and disciplinary action will follow if found in possession.

Social Media Policy

Students are forbidden to join social media until they complete S.L.C. exams. Any negative comments about individuals or institutions on social media will result in strict disciplinary action, including possible expulsion.

Leaving School Premises

Students can leave the school during hours only with a written request from parents, authorized by the school authorities.

Leave requests must be noted in the school diary, signed by a parent/guardian.


PARENTS/GUARDIANS


Parental Rights & Responsibilities

Parents retain their rights and duties in their children's education, even if they delegate them partially to the school. Their support and collaboration are essential for the success of the school’s educational efforts.

Parental Cooperation

Parents are encouraged to:

  • Ensure their wards attend school regularly and punctually.
  • Check the school diary daily.
  • Ensure homework and lessons are completed diligently.
  • Promote neatness and cleanliness in books and personal appearance.
  • Meet school authorities periodically to discuss progress.

School Communication

Parents should promptly respond to any school communication. They must sign the school diary with "CHECKED" at the end of every month.

Meeting Teachers

Parents of students in Classes 6-8 can meet teachers after class on Wednesdays, while parents of students from Nursery to Class 5 can meet teachers on Thursdays. Prior intimation is required.

School Premises & Conduct

Both students and parents are expected to uphold exemplary behavior inside and outside the school campus. Any threats, false allegations, or misconduct by parents may lead to disciplinary action, including issuing a Transfer Certificate for their ward.

Student Safety

The school takes all possible care of students but cannot be held responsible for self-inflicted or accidental injuries. Parents are responsible for their children after school hours.

Environmental & No-Smoking Policy

The school is a no-smoking, no-tobacco, and no-alcohol zone. Parents are requested not to bring disposable plastic items onto the premises.

School Transport

Bus services operate on fixed routes. Parents must ensure transport operators adhere to school schedules and prioritize student safety.

Medical Assistance

In case of illness or injury, first aid will be provided, and parents will be informed. For serious cases, the child will be referred to a doctor, clinic, or hospital at the parents' expense.
